Caddy Wagon 

 

Its a Caddy Wagon a bamboo and canvas chitty chitty bag bang. “Me ol' bamboo” is doing a fine job here showing just how versatile splits can be in creating a dynamic shelter. 

This was a custom built canopy tent for the back of a Mark 1 Volkswagen Caddy. It uses only pressure and lashings to fix its self to the bed so it technically fits any pickup. Like unfaling a sail on deck this canopy role's out over the boom and is erected in no time. Custom sewn curtain walling provides more privacy and protection from the elements while the yellow water proof canvas fills the space with warm golden light.
